XINTERGY.tlk Driver Reference

Swichtec SM20/Sm50 Intergy Mini Power Driver

This driver requires that you have TAS-HMITalk 8.04 installed.

Driver Overview

XINTERGY driver allows you to connect to the Swichtec SM20/SM50

Intergy Mini Power Systems using the S3P protocol.

Communication is performed using a RS-232 port in the PC.

Packets are sent at 19200 baud with one start bit, 8 data bits,

one stop bit and no parity.

Connect to Slave

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Establishes a communication channel between the master PC

and the slave.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Output

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 1

Disconnect from Slave

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Reverts a slave to the disconnected state.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Output

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 0

Read System Voltage

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Returns the current DC bus voltage.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16393

HMITalk1.DriverP2 = 14

Read Load Current

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Returns the load current.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

Read Battery Current

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Returns the battery current. This is positive for

current flowing into the batteries.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

Read Battery Temperature

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Returns the battery temperature.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

Read Manual Equalise

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Indicates present process state of manual equalise.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16420

HMITalk1.DriverP2 = 5

 

RETURNS:

430 = process disabled

431 = process inactive

432 = process active

Read Periodic Equalise

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Indicates present process state of periodic equalise.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16425

HMITalk1.DriverP2 = 5

 

RETURNS:

430 = process disabled

431 = process inactive

432 = process active

Read Battery Test

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Indicates present process state of battery test.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

430 = process disabled

431 = process inactive

432 = process active

Read Alarm State

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Represents the current state of the system alarm.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16466

HMITalk1.DriverP2 = 20

HMITalk1.DriverP3 = Alarm Index

 

RETURNS:

1 = alarm inactive

2 = alarm active

Read Rectifier Urgent Alarm

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Set to alarm active if there is presently an urgent

rectifier alarm.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16467

HMITalk1.DriverP2 = 5

 

RETURNS:

1 = alarm inactive

2 = alarm active

Read Rectifier Non Urgent Alarm

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

Set to alarm active if there is presently an non-urgent

rectifier alarm.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1.

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Slave address (1-124).

Use 0 for a stand-alone device.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 16468

RETURNS:

1 = alarm inactive

2 = alarm active

Returned Errors List

[1005] DRIVER (Internal): Invalid driver stage

[1300] PROTOCOL (Timeout): No answer

[1421] PROTOCOL (Format): Negative acknowledge received from device

[1433] PROTOCOL (Format): Validation error in device response

[2001] CONFIG (DataType): Analog outputs are not supported by this driver

[2002] CONFIG (DataType): Digital inputs are not supported by this driver

[3009] CONFIG (P0): Invalid device address (0-124)

[3510] CONFIG (P1): Invalid command (0 or 1 only)
