Global Weighing MP 30 Protocol Driver

This driver requires that you have TAS-HMITalk 8.04 installed.

Driver Overview

XGLOBALW driver allows you to connect to the Sartorius Global Weighing

MP 30 digital indicators. The equipment is expected to use

mnemonics in the communication messages.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Net Weight value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 0

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = Value read

Read Total

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Total value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Analog Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 1

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = Value read

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Max Input value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Min Input value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Setpoint 1 value.

This command allows you to read the Setpoint 2 value.

This command allows you to read the Setpoint 3 value.

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Setpoint 4 value.

This command allows you to read the Analog Output Register

value.

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

Read Control Status Register

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Control Status Register

value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

Read Gross Weight

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Gross Weight value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Tare Weight value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

Read Front Key State

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Front Key State.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1-5

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 12

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = F1 Key

HMITalk1.PointValue(1) = F2 Key

HMITalk1.PointValue(2) = RST Key

Read User Inputs State

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the User Inputs State.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1-6

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 13

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = User 1 Edge

HMITalk1.PointValue(1) = User 2 Edge

HMITalk1.PointValue(2) = User 3 Edge

HMITalk1.PointValue(3) = User 1 Level

HMITalk1.PointValue(4) = User 2 Level

HMITalk1.PointValue(5) = User 3 Level

Read Auto/Manual Modes

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Setpoint Auto/Manual Modes.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1-5

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 14

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = SP1 Mode

HMITalk1.PointValue(1) = SP2 Mode

HMITalk1.PointValue(2) = SP3 Mode

HMITalk1.PointValue(3) = SP4 Mode

HMITalk1.PointValue(4) = Analog Output Mode

Read Setpoint Outputs State

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to read the Setpoint Outputs State.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

HMITalk1.DriverDataType = Digital Input

HMITalk1.DriverNumPoints = 1-4

HMITalk1.DriverP0 = Indicates the station address (00-99).

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

HMITalk1.DriverP1 = 15

 

RETURNS:

HMITalk1.PointValue(0) = SP1 State

HMITalk1.PointValue(1) = SP2 State

HMITalk1.PointValue(2) = SP3 State

HMITalk1.PointValue(3) = SP4 State

Reset Total

COMMAND DESCRIPTION:

This command allows you to reset the Total value.

 

PROPERTY SETTINGS REQUIRED:

If 0 indicates point-to-point connection.

This command allows you to reset the Max Input value.

This command allows you to reset the Min Input value.
