XTWIDOT: Schneider Electric Telemecanique Twido PLC TCP Driver

General Information:


XTWIDOT driver allows you to connect to Schneider Electric TWIDO PLCs using the Modbus TCP protocol through the TWIDO TCP port.

In order to be able to communicate with your PLC through its ethernet port, you must be sure to go to the Preferences section in the PLC configuration and select the Ethernet option.

All registers must exist and be created in the PLC memory before any attempt to read or write them. If you get a [8168] CONFIG (Remote): Illegal data address error message, it will be indicating that you are trying to read or write a register that still needs to be created. Some registers might not be accessed directly, meaning that you should create M or MW registers that keep updated a copy of the same information, and then read those M or MW registers.

    Licenses

    The licenses of all our drivers are unlimited in terms of the number of machines where they can be used, the number of I/O that can read or written, and the number of components that can be included in each application.

    After purchasing a license, the owner can use the driver and all its components to assemble and distribute as many applications to as many users as needed.

    The license owner retains full control of his applications by deciding himself what target machines can they be run at. For this, each driver is provided with two runtime license management tools: GetPCId.exe and MakeLic.exe.
